Ocho Cinco, CJ Hwhosyourmomma, and Chris Henry: Bengals.

1) Colts- Harrison is a HOF and Wayne is on his way. Clark will soon be the best TE in the league and he runs WR routes perfectly when they need him to.

2) Arizona- Fitzgerald is developing great, Boldin and Johnson added make a nice team of WR needed a great QB

3) Bengals- Chad Johnson is a great WR but not quite Harrison stature, Henry is pretty good but Housh is their weak pt that puts them behind AZ

4) Cowboys- T.O. is excellent when he actually PLAYS right. Glenn and Witten also continue to amaze fans

Colts--Marvin and Wayne were #1 & 2 in my Fantasy League.

The Saints. Colston, Henderson, Horn, Copper (but Bush doesn't count as a WR, or does he the way he was used?)

People seem to be forgetting the Rams in this question, too. Holt, Bruce, et. al.

Seattle. Some great ones and some fine back-ups that stepped right in!

Jets--Cotchery and Coles are certainly no slouches....

Detroit has some (but Furrey wasn't even one of the big Millen picks, and he done great!)

Since RBs aren't WRs, the Westbrook doesn't count....Stallworth is always hurt.....Eagles are out....

You asked about WR's, so I assume that TE's don't count (plus Witten isn't that good anyway, as an example....)

Lots of good WR corps...Love Arizona's!!!

It just depends on the rest of teh equation

just random musings over a few Capt's and Diet Cokes.....

1) The Bengals (Chad Johnson, TJ Housh, Chris Henry)

2) The Colts (Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokley, Dallas Clark

3) The Seahawks (Deion Branch, Darrell Jackson, Jerramy Stevens, Nate Burleson, Bobby Engram)

4) The Cardinals (Larry Fitzgerald, Bryant Johnson, Anquan Boldin)

5) The Saints (Joe Horn, Marques Colston, Devery Henderson)

6) The Jaguars (Matt Jones, Ernest Wilford, Reggie Williams)

7) The Cowboys (TO, Terry Glenn, Jason Witten

I'd say the Colts. Maybe if Mr. Distraction and Mr Drunk weren't with the Bengals. I can't believe they keep Henry,. he will be a problem with the Bengals and nothing but trouble by all the legal issues. They are basically sending the message it is ok by keeping him there. As to Chad Johnson, he is a distraction. As to best by young I would probably say Cardinals, but that is IF they can become the best. They aren't as good yet.

The Colts no doubt. Peyton is good but so are his WRs (& TE). It's funny to see everyone praise Peyton and saying he makes his WRs look good, when usually on this board everyone is bashing Peyton (and praising Brady) and saying his WRs make him look good..............w/e

and you shouldn't laugh off seahawks, they don't have a real elite guy, but Jackson is their #1, and Branch and Burleson were #1s on their old teams, they have a pretty deep WR core (engram is pretty good, and Hacket has shown some good talent when he played).

It is absolutely NOT the indianapolis colts. They are great revievers don't get me wrong, but you can put the o-line at reciever and payton would send them to the probowl.

The best would be:

1. Dallas: TO, Glenn, and Witten (Too bad their QB can't even handle a snap)

2. Arizona: Fitz, Boldin, and Pope (Too bad their QB choked)

3. Carolina: Keyshaun, Smith, and Mangum (When they are healthy all at once)

4. Cincinatti: Johnson, Housh, and Henry (Their weakness is at TE)

5. Indy: Marvin, Reggie, and Clark (+ Peyton = Many Superbowls)

i would say the colts have the best WRs, but you can't include dallas clark because he is a TE...i think the bengals have the best group with johnson, houshmandzadeh, and henry, followed by the cardinals with boldin and fitzgerald and the colts with harrison, wayne, and when healthy brandon stokley

The Arizona Cardinals. Fitzgerald and Boldin are Pro Bowl recievers. Johnson is pretty decent. Colts and Bengals have pretty good ones too. I wana laugh at who ever said the Jaguars and Seahawks.

I would say Arizona. Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald and Bryant Johnson

Followed by the Bengals and then the Colts.

I gave the edge to Arizona because of potential and age.

Bengals(CJ, Housh, Henry), Colts(Harrison, Wayne, Stokley), Cardinals(Boldin, Fitz, Johnson), Saints(Colston, Horn, Henderson) and the Rams(Holt, Bruce, Curtis.)

LOL at the Seahawks and Jaguars. TO is also probably the single most overrated receiver in the game...he drops so many easy catches it's sad...

well its no question that it is the indianapolis colts. harrison wayne and clark all dominate. i would say second is a toss up between the cardinals and the bengals. either way, all three of these receiving cores are talented

Colts followed by the bengals

1 Cincinnati (if they are out on bail at the same time)

2 Indianapolis (only because they are week at number 3)

3 Dallas (TO is almost a core on his own, add Glenn and they are good)

4 Oakland (May rate higher if someone could throw them the ball)

5 New Orleans (Joe Horn all but disappeared, young guys could pick it up next year)

6 Seatlle (healthwise not consistent at any one rec slot)

1. Colts

2. Bengals

3. Rams

4. Cardinals

5. Seahawks

Maybe give some recognition to the Saints, Packers, Cowboys, and Redskins perhaps...

I would have to say the bengals a slight edge over the colts who won the superbowl.
2007-02-27 05:06:26 UTC
#1 colts. they have a HOFer and a graet numer one guy as their second WR. #2 bengals. ocho and hushmandeoushe r good and henry is up and coming. #3 cardinals. three good recievers

colts by far, im not just saying that because they are the champs, ive beena colts fan for years, but you cant beat those guys, harrison, stokley, wayne, moorehead and even dallas clark. but i guess it helps to have a QB like manning.

Seahawks-They have every facet of a WR

Bobby Engram-Slot Receiver

Darrel Jackson-Go to guy

Deion Branch-Let his SB MVP do the talking

Nate Burleson-Great Returner

The 'hawks don't have the biggest names in receiving, but they have the best as a core

I'll take Carolina.

Steve Smith on one side and Keyshawn on the other plus the emergence of Drew Carter in the slot and a "dangerous when healthy" backfield. They just need someone to consistently get them the ball.

It has to be my hometown Seahawks. They have some of the best in the business out at WR right now. We got the speedster Deion Branch, who has been Super Bowl MVP. Then we got our go to guy, Darrel Jackson. He isn't the fastest but he'll make the catches on first and second down. Then for our third down, we got Bobby Engram. He is like Darrel Jackson, but for third down conversions. If any of them are injured, we have Nate Burleson, who is also a speedster and great return man.
