Question:
What do you think about Tom Brady's demand that the Patriots hire Urban Meyer as offensive coordinator???

Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe is reporting that Tom Brady was disgusted with the offensive play-calling during the Super Bowl and demanded that a change be made. Just yesterday Brady called both Bill Belichick and VP of Player Personell Scott Pioli to give them permission to do what it takes to get Urban Meyer. Apparently Brady is enamored with Meyer's success running the spead-offense and believes he'd have no problem adjusting from the college game to the NFL. Would Urban Meyer be a good fit for the Patriots??

I think that would be a good choice.

Hasn't anybody figured out he is making this stuff up? By the way I think it is very amusing.

Hindsight is always 50/50. So instead of second guessing the best offensive season in the history of the game, he should look at his head coach and ask why he decided to go for it on 4th down which could have made the score 17-17 (at the end of the game) and possibly resolving the questions that exists right now. It's funny to me how quickly things start to crack under the pressure the Pats created for themselves. To all the New England Fans all the way to the Tom Brady...part of football is taking a loss like the fu%king man.. and shutting the hell up and going home for the off season and letting that pain fuel you for the next one. It is that time.

Bob Ryan actually made a mistake in that article. Brady is saying that he wants Charlie Weis back as his offensive coordinator because McDaniels sucks.

Dumbest question ever. The Gators have lost 5 games in the past two years. Meyer was given a decent team by Ron Zook. He has accomplished jack shi* on his own.

Kirk Herbsteit has just announced Les Miles will turn down the Michigan job to coach at Florida when Urban Meyer goes to the Patriots. "Les has to be leaving LSU to coach somewhere else," he says. "I know I'll eventually be right with this story."

i find that very hard to believe since he threw for 50 plus touchdowns without urban who wouldn't make the move anyway it's just another way to keep the pats on the front page and since they have his permission why not get peterson from the vikes and thet need another old linebacker so get ray lewis and carson could be his backup

NO! No matter how good the coach is in college, the pro's is another story. college coaches should stick with college. They are not ready for the Big Leagues.

Coaches coach and players play. He needs to stay in his lane.
