Do the refs seem to love the Steelers.

The player taking off his helmet and the hit after the fair catch was called.

Say what you want but the ball was in the air when he called fair catch''I don't care what Chris Collinsworth says

if the titans would have done that. The Refs would have called two penalties

Sorry, but there was not a valid fair catch signal. Therefore there is no fair catch. Cris Collinsworth saying there was doesn't make it so.

A player is allowed to take off his helmet if he needs to in order to adjust it after a play. It seemed to me that the helmet was loose and he took it off and put it back on very quickly. If the official actually made that call he'd be downgraded for a "ticky-tack" call. There was nothing unsportsmanlike about what he did. That rule it to prevent a player from preening or showing off.

If the Titans really wanted to win that game, they would have made one of the two FG they missed in regulation or made some attempt at a pass rush in the second half.

Know the damn rules! The ball must be kicked before someone can call for a fair catch. Troy P gets a forearm in the back and is called for pass interference. Are u freaking me kidding me!? Max Starks was called for holding on a completely legal block. James Harrison was held big time in front of the ref, no call on that one. Even Troy's late hit was questionable. He ran full speed from the other side of the field, how the hell can he stop. Troy was called for a face mask. On that play the Titans player face masked him too. Chris Hoke's helmet popped off his head when he got up to celebrate another great play by the D. He quickly put it back on so the ref's wouldn't call a penalty. He didn't pull it off like you think he did. If you taped the game you would see that the ref's made the right call on that one.

I hope that may clear a few things up for you somehow missed. Keep loving the Black and Gold. I know that you will be rooting for the SIX time champs all the way to another Super Bowl win. Keep waving your Terrible Towel. Enjoy as the Steelers win another thophy to our case and run out of fingers to put all the rings on. Keep loving the Steelers, dude! Smile, Big Ben and the Steelers Nation loves you.

are you sure you were watching the same game? The refs did a bad job last night specially with majority of the penalties they made against Troy. The one he was on the ground, it is not his fault the guy was jumping over him when he was getting up

The player (I believe it was Chris Hoke), to me it looked like his helmet flew off and he tried putting it back on right away. He didn't take it off intentionally after a tackle, give me a break.

The fair catch? Replay clearly showed he put his hand up soon as the ball was snapped... gotta wave that hand when the ball is in the air. Good call there.

I guess you didn't see the B.S. pass interference call on Troy Polamalu, also the B.S. holding call on Starks (I think it was Starks) that shouldn't of been called. Commentators both agreed those calls shouldn't of been called. Also the non-holding calls on James Harrison.

shut up about the refs. They did a good job. Just cause you wanted the Steelers to lose and they didn't your all mad about it and wanna blame the refs. How about blaming the Titans kicker for blowing 2 kicks. The refs dont favor anyone. Get over it. Every game refs make questionable call that go either way. its human error. Its all part of the game.

I watched the whole game and I hate the Steelers. As much as I don't want to admit it, I think you are wrong about last night. My family and I all thought that Pittsburgh, not Tennessee, was getting ripped on a bunch of calls, especially in the 1st half.

I know they usually have the refs in their back pockets, but not last night. Sorry.

Haha completely observed that. somebody (could no longer tell if it became him or no longer) appeared noticeably in love with Hines (who imo completely stole the coach) to boot. Announcer #a million "I examine someplace this week he became a grimy participant, if i became their coach i could choose 7 of him" Announcer #2 "7? i could need an entire team of Hines'!" lol

You can say all that but if the Titans special teams didn't blow 2 FG attempts they win 16-10.

I did not get to see the whole game but the refs usually like the Steelers and Patriots more than the rest of the league.

The ball was NOT in the air. Watch the replay. Regardless, name one other call that unfairly favored Pittsburgh. There were none. It was an excellently called game, and a terrific opener (though I still wanted Tennessee to win =( )

i don't know what game you were watching, but i saw the whole thing and i saw nothing that was tantamount to favortism towards the steelers. face it, the titans lost the game fair and square...blaming the refs won't change that.

The refs did their usual incompetent job missing calls for and against both teams. They are equal opportunity screw ups.

I disagree. I'm not sure the guy took his helmet off. It kind of looked like it flew off to me and he caught it and put it on. And the fair catch was a clean hit. He threw his hand up way to early

I started noticing it 35 years ago with 'Immaculate reception' and Swann's pushoff against the Cowboys in the Super Bowl X.
