Which fans are the biggest "goobers" and "players" of the NFL and college respectively?

Collin Cowherd, who is the greatest radio host ever, was talking about this earlier. He defined "player" as a guy who was into his team, but not too much. Not, a player can't be completely apathetic such as a Jacksonville or Miami fan. He also has other interests outside of football. A goober is a guy who is obsessed with his team. He trolls internet message boards in a drunken rage after a loss and talks $#@$ with opposing fans about which 17 year old will commit to which school.

So, the NFL players:

Seattle - most people up there have a good bit to do and a life outside football.

College:

Texas - Austin is a great, great town. One of the coolest towns in America. If you live there, and have no interests outside football, you're a goober.

Goobers:

NFL: Philly and Pittsburgh. Seriously, must I explain why? I will, but is it necessary?

College:

Alabama, great program, great history. I won't deny that. But you will not, even in the SEC, find a more foaming at the mouth, obsessed, psychopathic fan base. Every SEC school has their fair share of nut jobs, but Alabama takes the cake. This is why Auburn is my second favorite team.

lol but seriously...There's nothing wrong with being a diehard fan (except for the whole drunk rage trolling) or "goober" as you put it. I love my team, what can I say? Even when they are not doing so hot.



Last year while attending UA, I heard plenty of stories of students going to a game in Baton Rouge and their car would get damaged by other fans. Seriously?!?! Come on now. Who are the real "goobers?"



Everything else seems fine, except that Texas fans can be quite the goobers as well, probably worst than Bammers. Did you see all the hate on this site after the BCS Champ Game?

I even have been in Angels Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Petco Park and in spite of the call is of that sauna in Miami in purple Sox equipment. each and every person treats you with know/ignores you, different than the yank followers. there is in basic terms too plenty historic past there. It makes it relaxing. As on your journey, i'd desire to by no skill comprehend why a Yankee fan could happen at Fenway for a purple Sox--Tigers sport in Yankee equipment. positioned on Tiger equipment for Heaven's sake. of course you would be the main loathed individual in the park. certainly donning a Yankee hat in the city of Boston isn't the brightest of strikes as a commonly used count.

just because teams have a loyal die-hard fanbase doesnt make them goobers at all, like Pittsburhg and Philly.
