July 24, 2001 - Is Rep. Gary Condit telling the truth? Did Bill Clinton? Richard Nixon? Wouldn’t it be great if there was a machine that could reliably detect liars? There is. But even lie detectors don’t always yield the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
The lie detector machinery of today is based on the same premise the ancient Chinese used to catch liars; the stress of being caught lying causes changes in bodily functions, changes that can be detected.

Some genius on MSNBC made a good point. "We are killing more terrorists and no one is talking about it." I am curious as to the number of terrorists we have killed since 2003?? Bush-y any "intelligence" on that one? You "can" measure progress, that is a Fact. The only problem is that first you need to do the math. Throw some digits at us Mr. President. How many terrorists have you killed?? Being there was 400,000 "elite revolutionary guards" before the invasion, occupation of Iraq and not to mention "those" where not considered terrorists. Has their status been upgraded lately? If so 1000 years it is ( just a prediction, of course).

July 24, 2001 - Is Rep. Gary Condit telling the truth? Did Bill Clinton? Richard Nixon? Wouldn’t it be great if there was a machine that could reliably detect liars? There is. But even lie detectors don’t always yield the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
The lie detector machinery of today is based on the same premise the ancient Chinese used to catch liars; the stress of being caught lying causes changes in bodily functions, changes that can be detected.

Many are citing Our of war in Iraq, Afghanistan. Every day numbers, numbers and more numbers.
Some genius on MSNBC made a good point. "We are killing more terrorists and no one is talking about it." I am curious as to the number of terrorists we have killed since 2003?? Bush-y any "intelligence" on that one? You "can" measure progress, that is a Fact. The only problem is that first you need to do the math. Throw some digits at us Mr. President. How many terrorists have you killed?? Being there was 400,000 "elite revolutionary guards" before the invasion, occupation of Iraq and not to mention "those" where not considered terrorists. Has their status been upgraded lately? If so 1000 years it is ( just a prediction, of course).

During a lie-detector test, sensors are hooked up to monitor the subject, with data recorded on a moving strip of paper or a computer. As the interrogator asks questions, he or she looks for changes that could indicate heightened stress.

Mind games play a far bigger role than the machinery
During a lie-detector test, sensors are hooked up to monitor the subject, with data recorded on a moving strip of paper or a computer. As the interrogator asks questions, he or she looks for changes that could indicate heightened stress.

July 24, 2001 - Is Rep. Gary Condit telling the truth? Did Bill Clinton? Richard Nixon? Wouldn’t it be great if there was a machine that could reliably detect liars? There is. But even lie detectors don’t always yield the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
The lie detector machinery of today is based on the same premise the ancient Chinese used to catch liars; the stress of being caught lying causes changes in bodily functions, changes that can be detected.

Many are citing Our of war in Iraq, Afghanistan. Every day numbers, numbers and more numbers.
Some genius on MSNBC made a good point. "We are killing more terrorists and no one is talking about it." I am curious as to the number of terrorists we have killed since 2003?? Bush-y any "intelligence" on that one? You "can" measure progress, that is a Fact. The only problem is that first you need to do the math. Throw some digits at us Mr. President. How many terrorists have you killed?? Being there was 400,000 "elite revolutionary guards" before the invasion, occupation of Iraq and not to mention "those" where not considered terrorists. Has their status been upgraded lately? If so 1000 years it is ( just a prediction, of course).
