Tom Brady

Tom Brady for sure with all of his TD's he has 45 passing and only 5 picks those are ridiculous numbers and there is no question that he is the MVP. That is a good point but Moss needed someone to throw him the ball look what he did in Oakland he did nothing and without a good QB he is an average reciever at best.

Brady makes Moss so good because he can hit him. A receiver is only as good as the QB that throws to him. Moss hasn't been an MVP candidate until he got to the Pats, and Brady's been arguably the best QB in the NFL for several years. That shows that Brady is the true MVP.

Like it or not, Tom Brady would be NFL MVP. His numbers are off the charts and he is on verge of breaking all kinds of records. Favre has done the same but Brady has just been better.

Guess I'll be the black sheep and go with someone not playing for the Patriots. People are blinded by the fact that the whole Pats team is the MVP. Every player has contributed equally on that team.

MVP will go to either Brett Favre or Derek Anderson. These guys have done a lot with mediocre teams - especially Anderson. Not sure either of these teams would be where they are without either of these guys. And if neither of those guys gets it, it'll go to Minnesota's Adrian Peterson. Just my 2 cents.

How could anybody go against Tom Brady? He's one of two men to have as many TD passes this late in the year (45), he has a ridiculous number of passing yards and he's only thrown 5 INT's! Hell, Tony Romo and Peyton Manning have more INT's in ONE game than Brady does in 13!

Yes, either could get it but most likely Brady because guys like Welker have helped as well. Romo or perhaps Favre or even Adrian Peterson could be second. I think Moss is hands down the comeback player of the year.

Who's my vote for this season's MVP? None other than sunshine on my butt-hole Randy Moss. When he's not running over traffic cops, smoking pot, or walking off the field in disgust, Moss is quite possibly the best deep threat ever to play the game, and he makes his QB's look so much better (provided of course he actually wants to play - ergo ignore those two seasons as a Raider). It is him that is the key to NE's offense, and that is why he deserves the MVP. When he isn't catching TD's, he is drawing double or triple coverage, which opens up the field for Ben Watson, or the best slot receiver in football (Welker) to get open.

Let's see just how much Moss improves his QB's by playing with some stats....

In Moss's first 6 years in the league, he had 77 TD's, and he averaged 1396 yards per season.... that's... uhh... pretty good.

98 - Randall Cunningham threw 34 TD's in essentially 13 games. He hadn't even started the past few years. Brad Johnson also threw 7 TD passes. That's 41 total. Moss had 17, or 41% of them.

99 - Jeff George and Cunningham (Both ancient by the way) combined for 31 TD's. Moss had 11 TD's (35.5%).

00 - Duante - 33 TD's. Moss - 15 (45.5%)

01 - QB's - 23 TD's. Moss - 10 (43.5%)

02 - Pepper - 18. Moss - 7 (38.9%)

03 - QBs - 32. Moss - 17 (53%!!!!)

04 - Pepper - 39. Moss 13 (in 13 games) (33.3%)

05 - QB's - 21. Moss - 8 (38%)

06 - QB's - 7. Moss - 3 (in 13 games) (42.9%)

THIS YEAR

Brady - 45. Moss 19 (42.2%)

Also, take a look at some of Moss's qb's numbers without him compared to with him.

Cunningham - in seasons where he started 12 or more games, without Moss, he averaged 22.17 TD's a year. With him he had 34..... and that was in 13.5 games.

Culpepper - averaged 28.75 TD's a season with Moss... without Moss.... he hasn't even been able to hang on to a starting job. In fact, he has only thrown 13 TD's since Moss left him... That was over the course of about 16 full games.

Jeff George - Without Moss averaged 18.3 TD's a season when he started 12 or more games. With moss, he put up 23 TD's.... in 11.5 games.

Now we have Brady, who is closing in on the record.... prior to having Moss, his CAREER high was 28, with an average of 24.5 TD's a season. He reached his career high nearly halfway through the season.

It is ridiculous to think that Brady could have this kind of season without Moss. It is not ridiculous to think that Moss could have kind of season with out Brady - he's done it with Randall Cunningham, and a revolving door of QB's in 2003!

How about we give some credit where credit is due? Randy Moss deserves to be the front-runner for MVP.

I'd love to say someone other than Brady, but I can't. The story of the year has been NE and Brady headlines that story of the year. TD records, crazy points per game, undefeated record....

People who say otherwise are just Patriot-haters. Objectively, there is no question.

Tom Brady. He's going to break the single season TD record & may even break the yardage record. He also may lead HIS team (many in the media write/say Brady's team, not Moss's team) to an undefeated season.

Don Shula and Eric Mangini have fueled the Patriots to soaring heights they could never see with just Brady and Moss. I say those two are Co-MVP's.

Tom Brady. You're right Moss could also win it could be close between two teamates.

Tom Brady:

123.5 Passer's rating

4,095 All Purpose Yards

45 Touchdowns

Great argument could be made for Moss, but Brady is more valuable to the team......

I would say Brady, I agree though it is a tough one between him and Moss. Could there be co-MVP's?
