Radio announcers Boomer Esiason and Marv Albert were stunned how ballistic he went after the Pats 4th Q TD, then he threw the flag and went totally off the charts. Will he be served up a suspension, or did he lose his cool because as Ravens players allege, an official called him and other defenders "boy".

He is a big boy, playing in a professional arena...

NO excuse for acting like a pissed off teenager....

Scott is an idiot. I don't care if the ref calls you a Purpleheaded Mooshypuffin, at that point in the game a professional needs to maintain composure. Regardless of whether the Gaffney catch was complete or not (It was, get over it), the Pats would have had the ball 1st and goal from the 3 or 4 and would have scored anyways. Scott's unprofessionalism potentially cost his team the game.

He should have been a man (not a boy) and buttoned his lip, then complained to the NFL after the game.

I know one thing if I was Brian Billick I would be standing up for my players. I wouldn't let the bs officiating stand. Bart Scott probably more then likely wasn't pissed about two things the horrible holding call and then ruling that the touch down by Gaffney. If I were Billick I would be calling out the head of officials, the commissoner, etc...... This game was horribly officiated for both sides and something needs to be changed. I'm neither a Raven fan or Patriot fan but most of the calls were questionable at best.

There was no doubt Bart Scott's actions were immature and inexcusable and also very typical of a Ray Lewis - led defense. But I have to say judging by the way that Bart Scott threw the official's flag, they should have put him in there to throw the hail merry. He could have reached the end zone, no problem.

Scott is a psychopathic child. When he got knocked down by Hines Ward on a perfectly legit block in the Pittsburgh game, he actually threatened Ward's life & swore he would go out of his way to put Ward and Big Ben in the hospital when the Steelers play the Ravens later this month. His exact words were, "If I have to get fined or suspended to get even, it's worth it."

"Boy" is an insult to some grown men.

Just because a person has the power of being a referee doesn't mean they have to abuse it.

I'm not going to take sides here because all we know is hearsay but if you saw the game it was obvious both did something wrong here. The ref continued taunting the player and the player continued arguing with the ref. Also the officiating SUCKED, even though it didn't by itself cost the ravens the game, it didn't help matters either.

He deserves a penalty but a reduced one because the ref also instigated further arguments.

Both...this will be reviewed by the league but regardless he will get a fine.

He was just heated and had the right to be. He shouldn't have thrown the flag, but when old guys ruin your chance against an undefeated team it pisses you off.

He'll be fined. If he lost his temper over a comment like that, he is a "boy".
