Heath Miller( Pitt) is the best overall TE..for recv,blocking etc..Dallas Clark and Gates are more WR/type guys put at the TE position(for people that think they are not ..Gates is 6'6 251 lbs--Calvin Johnson of Detroit is 6-6 243 lbs)
in 2 yrs Brandon Pettigrew will be the best overall TE in the game,he was really coming on strong,then he got hurt..he is gonna be an 80 catch-10 TD guy for yrs..and hes already the best blocking TE in the NFL

Antonio Gates. He pretty much redefined the position, playing like a power forward in basketball, with his size (6-4, 260), leaping ability, great hands, and skill at blocking defenders away from the ball with his body. If he wants to catch the ball, it's almost impossible to keep him from doing so. Especially with the jump-ball type of passes that Philip Rivers tosses his way.

This year, Dallas Clark. Talent wise Antonio Gates with rookie Jermichael Finley trailing slightly behind. I know he's just a rookie, but he will be a beast.
