RIP Al Davis, but Jerry Jones has made 2 very very questionable choices recently.
1.Signing Romo(the nfl goat) to a huge deal
2. Picking Travis Fredrick in the first round?
This has raiders franchise written all over it...

You drafted an offensive lineman, a position of need. There were alot of offensive linemen taken in the first round, meaning theres a chance hes gone by your next pick.

He is a safe pick - look at the record of Badger linemen in the nfl in the last 10 years. Lots of starters. Jones picked a guy who is going to start from day 1 for probably 10 years or more. Its hard to complain at getting the best guy at his position and locking one up for a long time

It's true. They want to go big all the time. They don't care if it doesn't make sense. Al Davis picked Heyward-bey solely on his combine speed being the fastest. They want the statistical "best". The popular choice really! Go big or go home mentality!

HAHA YES!

He's just slightly better than Al Davis was late in his career, though. He was a genius back in the day.

they could of traded back, got more picks and still got this guy. better pick would of been eddie lacy or barret jones.
