This excludes true fans of these two teams who would understandably watch this game . The system is soooooooooooo wrong to think that a team like Bama can even be considered for a Natl Championship game ( they didnt win their division or their conference) , so at best if our idiotic pollsters & the suck ( BCS) system put them in the game w/LSU then the best we can realistically hope for is that if they beat LSU then they are CO Natl Champs. Sounds stupid doesnt it ? I for one will have a free night in early January because my 12 big screens will not be tuned to THAT ( waste of time ) game if it is to happen. Hope everybody follows suit ! And please .... leave out the comments of " oh, they are # 1 & #2 in the BCS system" because we all know how flawed the system is.

If I get bored I will. I don't want to see that boring *** game again. That game was terrible. I would rather see a stomping if Houston than LSU-Bama. If OSU doesn't win I don't see any other option. But, if it's LSU-Bama again the rating will be so low. I hate the BCS and I always will.

Clearly the SEC dominates college football. When the 2 best teams are in 1 conference and they are going to have to play each other so someone is gonna have a loss. And Bama lost by 3 points and missed several field goals. Can you think of a better championship game?? LSU would destroy Ok state, boise, or Stanford. Bama is the only one that is going to give them a run. It would be a great game hell yeah i would watch it! ROLL DAMN TIDE!!!!

I am a believer in you should have to win your conference to get into the National Championship game. I think Bama is probably the 2nd best team in the country, but if OSU easily beats OK then I would like to see them play, since Bama had their shot. If it does turn out to be LSU and Bama in the NC I will watch because I like a good defensive game. If you can't get into a defensive game then you probably don't really get the strategy behind football.

What your not considering is that Alabama lost a conference game against the number 1 team in the nation. They would be number 2 any way, Oklahoma State lost against Iowa State and Stanford lost against a 2 lose Oregon team. The only team worth considering is Houston, but put them in a game against LSU and it will be a beat fest of massive proportions. To put it short I will watch the national championship game, but I would prefer to not see LSU v. Alabama again. Maybe Oklahoma State can leapfrog Alabama if they win the Big 12 championship game.

I won't watch it. I think that the ratings will be down quite a bit, and it will be the last time 2 teams from the same conference will play in the National Championship game. Alabama had their shot.

I'm an LSU fan and I think it's ridiculous that Alabama gets to sit home this weekend and wait for their bowl invitation. They didn't play for their conference title, there's no way they should get to play for a National Title, In the meantime, LSU who has exceeded all bodies of work in the NCAA this year, has to go out and play another game, risk injury and a potential loss. It's just ridiculous.

No, and outside of fans of those teams, and maybe a small section of the country, I doubt most people will watch more than a couple of plays here and there, if at all. Rematches in college usually don't do well, and since the first game was a 9-6 debacle, I'm guessing most won't watch it because of how the first game turned out.

i'll watch, but i think it's ridiculous that a team can play for a national title when they don't even win their conference.
