Everyone on my high school football team wears vapor jet receiver gloves but all over the internet I've heard cutters are the best. Once an for all which ones are the best in terms of performance, durability, mobility and are they machine washable. If there are any other types of gloves besides cutters or vapors please notify me.

I've worn 3 gloves this season. I'm really into football receiver gloves. Let me go over each one and my opinion of them.

Cutters:

The favorite of most high school players. They grip on these gloves are obviously the best, competition none. They last an EXTREMELY long time, sticking them in the washer will make them just like new. I personally don't like them because they are really "thick" and padded, I like a glove that's skin tight so I don't feel as if it's even on my hand - with Cutters, you feel the glove and sometimes it's hard to feel the ball hitting your hand. This is the type of glove you either love or hate, and 99% of people love them, and I see why. I reccommend you try it out.

Nike Vapor Jet:

What I currently wear these gloves. For me, their really thin, yet grippy, a good combination. The only problem is that they don't last very long, the grip wears out soon and it'll tear after a few months. I've had to purchase 3 of these gloves over the past 6 months because of tears or loss in grip.

Nike Vapor Carbon

Nike's "elite" receiver glove. Made with sythetic leather, it's a "premium" version of the Vapor Jet. I hate them personally, they cost $10 more, they're thicker than Cutters, allow no range of motion and uses SuperGrip instead of Nike Magnigrip - which in my opinion is stupid.

UA Blur II

I'm really interested in trying out these gloves, they grip on them is weaker than all of these previously stated gloves, but they're really really thin, the only problem is durability.

When it comes to gloves, grip comes with thickness, and thiness comes with a lack of grip or lack of durability. You have to find out the glove that works for you best.

Put them in the washer, hand wash them or wipe them off with a wet rag. There are two ways to make them more sticky. 1.) The grip should restore after you wash them. 2.) Use pine tar. It is illegal in all leagues though, so only use it if you are playing w/ you friends.
