Finally something new to discuss about football. I'm glad they are going ahead with this because it brings a glimmer of hope that they still intend on playing football this year.
I'm sure they will play however I'm not sure the Bears will play in London. If an agreement is not reached by 8/1/11 the London game will be moved to Tampa Bay.

I agree with Bear Down's first sentence. I am happy that once it is announced all of these ESPN and NFL Network analysts can talk about something that isn't the draft. It seems as if all they have been talking about in the past month is the draft. While I like the draft, I don't enjoy hearing about it 24/7.

i'm slightly discouraged that when 7 quickly days of mediated negotiations they nonetheless could no longer strike a deal. Well for one, it means we are that much closer to the lock out ending. Secondly it means there will be more to talk about rather than what is currently going on like the draft and the lock out.
