McGrady I know you are biased towards Carolina and that is ok. Big Ben is the better of the two but Delhomme is a great quarterback. Ok the super bowl ring aside. I don't think Delhomme would have made some of the runs Ben made in the playoffs. As strong as Delhomme is I am not sure he would have made the tackle as it now known against the colts. I would like to see Carolina vs Pittsburgh in the superbowl. I think it would be a great matchup and if that happens soon we can revisit this question and answer it objectively then.

Nice question bro. I will give you my unbiased opinion regarding your question.

Jake Delhomme is a good quarterback and is probably one of the top 10 QBs in the league. He has played with 1 superstar WR, Steve Smith and a bunch of mediocre to average WR2's. He has done very well with the Panthers. He hasn't had the best pass protection in a while. Most probably didn't recognize that Delhomme was having a really good year with yards and TDs until he was hurt in week 3. He had 8 TDs and 1 interception with those 2 1/2 games. After he was injured, the Panthers went through 4 QBs and it just wasn't the same after that for the Panthers. That tells you how significant he is. He is definitely underrated. He is just injury prone.

Big Ben is a different style of QB. He has marvelous control of the ball and had a career high in TDs last year. He is great because he is extremely difficult to take down. The opposing defense always has trouble sacking him and Big Ben knows how to break tackles. However, he is not one to throw a lot of passes and does not accumulate a lot of completed yards. His best year for completed yards was 2006 with over 3,500 and he finished 2007 with just above 3,100 yards. This is not to say it is aweful, but not elite numbers like some of the best.

When it all comes down to it, they are two different QBs with each having their pros and cons. In choosing who I think is the better of the two, I will have to go with Big Ben. He has a lot of upside and potential. He is still a growing QB and he seems to get better year after year.

Thumbs up to those who agree!

Big Ben took two years because he was a rookie in his first year

You don't see Delhomme running a 32 yard TD in his lifetime

And Delhomme didn't even win a ring

No doubt about it Big Ben is way better than Delhomme

Delhomme is done. Enjoy your memories, because the future is bleak. Delhomme will be out of the league in 2 years.

And anybody with even a whiff of a brain would take Ben as their starter over Jake.

homer.

Big Ben is better than Delhomme, but Ben isn't as good as people think and Delhomme isn't as bad as people think. In the whole league, out of quarterbacks, I'd rank Ben in the low tens and Delhomme around 20.

I would take Ben over Jake every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

How do you think this is a hard question? Ben is better hands down.

Here's a tough one for you now.

Who do you think is better? Peyton Manning or JP Losman?
