So I am a 21 year old girl who want to see the university of Alabama play this year. Even though I live across the country haha. It’s simply been a goal of mine. I’m very fun loving and when I was in HS and College I always went to football games with all my friends and had such a fun time. This year however is very different, I just graduated college and many of my friends are unable to travel with me and actually despise the south.
I’m afraid if I go alone I won’t have a fun time.. like idk I just think it’s strange BUT I WANT TO GO
SO BAD, this sucks any advice?

Its a better experience with a friend but if your going by yourself then as a female stay in safe tourist type areas and do not trust a group of males if your not feeling right about a situation .

Leave a contact with any friends or family of your locations you could be staying at and enjoy the football game

You will make friends there. Tailgaters are pretty social.

No, it's not weird to go alone if you want to see the game and don't have someone to go along.

You are finding out an important lesson...traveling and sharing that travel with a friend is way more fun than traveling alone and having no one to share the experience with. It does suck. Because there is a huge vacuum an emptiness where a friend should be.

My advice...find a best friend to share your travels with. Meanwhile, stay home and call someone local up and go see a movie or have a drink. Do something near home, but with someone. That'll be way more fun than going it alone in Bama.
