Dolphins are going to have a tough time. New HC, not a lot of offensive threats, transitioning from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense all add up for the Dolphins to be lucky to get to 6 wins. But hey, at least their cheerleaders are awesome.
As for the Texans, there is no reason why they shouldn't be considered a serious Super Bowl contender. They have one of the best defenses in the league (yes the lost Williams, but he was hurt most of last year and they still did great), they have a solid offensive line, weapons all over the field and a relatively soft division to beat up on during the season. I still have my doubts about Kubiak as a HC but he did a lot of good things last year.

Of the two the Texans are the best poised to have a great season and be a Superbowl contender. This isn't just my fan dreams, but actual prophecy from the NFL talking heads at NFL channel and ESPN.
Texans have the triplets, Matt Schaub QB, Andre Johnson WR, and Adrian Foster RB. All of which if healthy will dictate a great offensive season.
Texans have Wade Phillips Defensive coordinator who took the 30th ranked defense to #2 without an off season to prepare. JJ Watt, Brooks Reed, Brian Cushing, Antonio Smith, Connor Barwin and more will make the opposing offenses crazy. Thier goal is to be #1 defense this year - 30th to 2nd, 2nd to 1st isn't a leap.

Texans no doubt have just room to improve they are one of my top teams to make the Superbowl.
The Dolphins on the other hand... need to rebuild.
Adding Ochocinco was a nice touch but deciding who's gonna start this season is a crucial issue in my opinion.
They need to see how all 3 Quarterbacks play styles are and test them out in Pre-season then they should decide the starter.
Matt Moore will probably win, Dolphins have a long way until they go to a Superbowl again.
Reggie Bush will possibly have a much better season, but you cant rely your whole team on him.

For the Dolphins, I don't even think they'll make the playoffs. Their quarterbacks I believe David Garrard will be their starting quarterback (yikes). They lost Brandon Marshall but just got old Ochocinco. Running backs are pretty good. not sure about the defense.
For the Texans, I think they have a shot at the Superbowl. Arian Foster's great. A healthy Matt Shaub would help too. They did lose Mario Williams, but I still think they have a shot at the superbowl. I think they win the AFC south easily so they'll make the playoffs for sure.
By the way, I am a Chargers fan so I have no bias towards those teams. That's just the way I feel about them.

Can't wait for the game to see how the new offense looks for Miami.
With that being said, Houston plays in a division where the only challenging team is Tennessee and easily has a top 2 defense. Andre Johnson is one of the best WR in the NFL, Arian Foster is the best RB in the NFL imo, and Matt Schaub is coming off of injury. One thing they need to figure out is who else is Schaub going to throw to. Kevin Walter, Andre Johnson, and the TE are the only players who have caught a pass in the NFL. 12-4 with a 90% chance of reaching the Super Bowl.
Miami plays in a division where the challenging teams are New York and New England. Their defense took a step back from 2010 where it was #6 to #15 in 2011. A full offseason and switch to 4-3 which suits the DEs and DTs and they will probably be top 10 again. The offense may or may not struggle depending on how they transition from a balanced offense to West Coast. It will be focused on the rushing attack as there is tons of depth at the RB position(Bush, Thomas, Miller, and Slaton). The TEs will receive a lot of attention also with a lot of depth (Fasano, Clay, and Egnew). The WRs obviously have to step up with Brandon Marshall gone. With a new head coach and staff I don't see instant success, though it happened with San Francisco last year. 6-10/7-9 with a 40% chance of reaching the Super Bowl.

Dolphins see a suprise year of 9-7 if David Garrard starts, but they don't make the playoffs though.
The Texans 12-4 The Texans can go farther in the playoffs with Matt schaub and can make it to the AFC champonship game if Andre Johnson is healthy hey maybe even the superbowl they gotta get by the pats though that's tough.
dolphins are still rebuilding, texans made it to the playoffs last season and should do so again this season especially if they can keep their quarterbacks healthy. also the colts won't be giving the texans any trouble anytime soon since they're in a rebuilding mode as well. as for either one making the superbowl i give the texans a better chance of going.

Dolphins might be great team now that they got a good QB and good receivers and a new head coach
I think the Texans will do better than last year because Matt Shuab was not playing throughtout the whole season so they have to be better!

Dolphins will finish last in the division.
Texans- I predict they'll finish 11-5, AFC South winners. They did surprisingly well in spite of injuries, so if they can stay healthy, they can go as far as the AFC Championship game.

Miami's biggest threat on offense is the LT, every team in the AL East gets 2 guaranteed wins this year except them. Houston would be a Superbowl favorite if they ever manage to stay healthy.

Then add a capful of your favorite heavy duty laundry detergent along with a cup of baking soda. The baking soda will help to take the odor out of the jersey. The jersey will need to soak for at least an hour but it will work better if it soaks overnight.
