Purchasing Football Tickets?

I found a man on a Craig's List posting that is selling NFL football tickets that I am interested in. He said that he has more offers so I would need to pay him today. If I pay through Pay Pal and once he received payment, he would then over night the tickets. Is this safe? What happens if this is a scam? Is there any way that I can protect the money if they are fake or how do I go about doing this safely? Thanks!

Absolutley not, Unless they are local and you meet up with them in person. Otherwise i would use ticket hub, or an actual ticket vendor. If you cant find what your looking for there, I suggest you try ebay- Ive used it before to buy tickets and have not been disappointed thus far. They have ratings on ebay to show the person is reliable, they are rated by users that have bought tickets from them before so you know that its honest. Good Luck!

Don't risk it. There are several Legitimate resale ticket brokers out there that you can do business with. While it is true you will pay a fee for using those services, you will also be guaranteed to get the item that you pay for. Through Craigslist (if mailing items) you are basically taking someones word that they will give you your item. Unless you arrange to meet them face to face, there's no guarantee the seller will send you anything, and it could even arrive the day after the game, and you would be out the money anyway. On that note, I hope I don't have to point out the dangers of meeting a stranger you met on the internet. I suggest Stubhub.com, Cheaptickets.com, ticketsnow.com or another actual ticket resale business (my favorite is Ticketmaster.com), to be sure that you are getting what you pay for, on time to use, to be certain that you aren't getting ripped off. Better yet, go through a new ticket broker and buy tickets that are certain to be in your hand the moment you purchase them.

I would definitely not send anything!! Most of those are a scam. The only way I get anything off of Craigslist is a face-to-face exchange. I hate to say it, but the scalpers..err.. ticket brokers really are the safest bet

i wouldn't to it.. i'd want to see the tickets in person..

if it's a scam.. it's a long horrible ordeal through paypal, in which they may end up doing nothing.. it's a risk.

It's not that safe..there is more of a chance that everything will work out fine then for it not to, but why risk it? Use a credible source like Stubhub.

Yeah man craigslist is fine for cheap stuff, but I wouldn't risk it on NFL tickets.

http://ticketsnow.com

http://ticketstumbler.com

http://razorgator.com

http://craigslist.com

http://ebay.com

If I were you, don't trust Craigs List. And to me, it doesn't sound legit.

Try:

http://www.stubhub.com/

or

http://ticketmaster.com/
