Moon, Campbell, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, Drew Hill, Joiner, Matthews, Blanda, Munchak, Kearse, Bennett, Mason,and when they drafted Steve McNair and Eddie George and when they FINALLY got to play in the Super Bowl, even though not in Houston anymore, it felt as if it was vindication for all those years for when they came so close but never quite made it. I love the Oilers and the Titans so much that I designed a Tattoo that incorporates their two logos which i now wear proudly.

Man I used to love the Houston Oilers. Earl Campbell is the obviouse answer. Carl Roaches, White Shoes Johnson, The Snake, Dan Pastorini. One thing I remember was that a friend of mine was a Raider/Dave Casper fan. He used to rag me all the time about the Oilers and how great Casper was. Then when Casper became an Oiler. Great success!

I think Roaches was my favorite. He was small and I was small so I identified with him. We played football in the yard and I'd be like "I'm Carl Roaches" They would make fun of the name but I didn't care. He was awesome.

No there probably would not be since they are now the Tennesse Titans. But my favorites from that team would have to be Warren Moon and Steve Mcnair who played a season before they had the distinctive change of venue. Mcnair was my favorite and continued to be my favorite just because of the way he handled the game and how he seemed to be in control of the situation even at such a young age on the Oilers.

Chuckle, Hoyle Granger & I got into a fight outside a Houston bar & Walt Suggs grabbbed me several minutes into the fight... "I know he needs an *** kicking, but I can't let him get hurt." Suggs was a fine lineman & an all around good man. Chuckle, I still think Bud Adams is a cheap rascal that kept the Oilers out of the Super bowl on more than one occasion.

Not an Oilers fan. I was a Steelers fan. However I do have a lot of respect for Warren Moon from when he was their QB. Maybe their fans can name better players but man you had to love him. Actually I remember them as a great rival, may have been friendly rivalry but was one.
