I've never been a football fan in my life. But I have watched alot of high school football at my school and I got really into it. Ive decided to get into football the upcoming season, and I was wondering, WHAT TEAM SHOULD I ROOT FOR?

I am not really interested in a winning team. I was thinking of an underdog team in the playoffs or a wildcard contending team. I'm really interested in The Broncos The Ravens, and The Cowboys. I'm leaning towards the Broncos because lot's of my friends are fans of them, and they say their an exciting team to watch, espically with all of the QB depth they have now, I'm excited to see Tebow play.

So what team shoul I pick? Or do you have any other suggestions on what team to root for?

Thanks :D

Yeah..same here bro. In my first two years of high school, I did not really like it. Now, it one thing that always keeps my mind preoccupied. The formations and the way its so strategic is awesome. Now to your question, I hate NFL. I watch NCAA. If you are just a novice at football watching, I would go for some team thats well known and has a good player that everyone is hyping about..Tim Tebow. He is on the Broncos. Give it a try..why not?

So you're interested in watching football? You don't want to root for a winning team? And you want a team that is an underdog/wildcard contender? Well perfect, you could be a Philadelphia Eagles fan. They are a winning team, but not division-winning material though. They are always guaranteed a playoff spot. They're a good team. They have one heck of an explosive offense. Good running game, really great passing game. And our defense.....it is anything but bad. I can assure and promise you that there will be turnovers made and sacks recorded in Philly. IF you were to become a fan, here are some players to look out for:

Offense

DeSean Jackson

Jeremy Maclin

LeSean McCoy

Brent Celek

Jason Avant

Leonard Weaver

Defense

Trent Cole

Asante Samuel

Quintin Mikell

Stewart Bradley

I'm looking forward to baseball, both college and the majors, and the start of NASCAR. The Dolphins aren't in the playoffs so I won't really care until the Super Bowl, though I will watch some of the NFL playoffs. I don't care for the NBA. I'll watch some college basketball but now that I know the SEC West is so bad Ole Miss could sweep them all and still miss the NCAA tournament (which won't happen, at any rate) it's hard to get very excited for college basketball. College baseball and the Daytona 500 both come up in mid-February. Excluding the Super Bowl, that's the next big thing to look forward to for me.

Yeah sure they're exciting to watch with their mid/late season collapses and what not.

The Cowboys have a large fan base so it would be easy to join theirs (but you will probably be disliked by some people) but if you don't like people the odd one out the cheer with Broncos with your friends. So Broncos are probably the best option.

I have been a Bronco fan my whole life and i to am excited to see what this kid Tebow can do in the NFL. If he is half as good as he was in college we have found our QB of the future. There is always room for 1 more fan so welcome aboard, this is Broncos country.

There is no law that says you have to have ONE team to root for.

If you enjoy the game then go ahead and root for all 3 teams you mentioned.

Be a football fan instead of a particular team fan.

There is nothing wrong with that.

I recommend you watch ESPN and other shows that do break downs on the games and players. if you want an underdog team go with the Oakalnd Raiders or Detroit Lions watch they build or try to.

Out of those choices, choose the Broncos.

go for the PACKERS!!!!! best team ever!!!! but maybe I think that way because I live in Wisconsin, but their games are always very interesting what with all the Aaron Rodgers vs. Brett Favre controversy
