Do you believe the statement issued by Drew Rosenhaus regarding Terrell Owens being signed by next week?

Who believes Drew Rosenhaus when he says, and I quote (or paraphrase):

"There several teams interested in Terrell Owens, I can't identify those teams at this particular point and time, but we expect to have a deal done for Terrell Owens at the end of next week"

Do you believe Drew, or do you believe he is full of it?

I think that there is a little of both.....I think there are teams intersted and I think Drew is perhaps exaggerating just a little..

T.O is still a top flight receiver so his talent will always be in demand, besides you at least know you can at least get 1 good season out of him before he starts to wreak havoc in your locker room

And give credit to Drew Rosenhaus who probably may not have as many teams lined up to sign T.O as he indicates, but the statement he did give is quite a loaded statement...

He communicates there are several teams lined up....which is most likely said to get teams thinking with the purpose to get at least one team to bite and get a deal done immediately so that a franchise may think another competing team doesn't land him...

there's a reason Drew's among the best Agents in the business

I think there are probably several teams interested in signing TO.

But I hesitate to believe anything a player's agent says. The agents are in the process of selling a clients services for the best possible contract. I think Rosenhaus made that particular statement to stroke TO's ego plus get some owners thinking there is a high degree of competition to sign him.

Owners lie and stretch the truth all the time too. During Super Bowl week, Jerry Jones said, "Terrell Owens is a Cowboy, will be a Cowboy next season, and will hopefully retire as a Cowboy."

Agents and owners making false statements hurts their credibility of course. But they don't have to tell the truth. There is no law against lying to the media.

Owens will be 36 years old during the season. December 7, 1973. Rosenhaus is supposed to pump all of his clients. I thought Dallas would be Owens' last stop due to the way Jerry Jones approaches special treatment for players with special talent. It just fell through.

Well i definitely think Drew is full of it, but putting that aside I do think there are teams looking at TO despite the public statements they are not interested. They probably are trying to get some assurances from TO that he will behave himself if they sign him.

While watching Mike and Mike this morning they actually addressed this and quoted an unidentified NFL insider that the team most likely to take him would be the Titans. They made some valid points about having a veteran head coach and veteran QB who would be able to deal with TO when he was on one of his tangents. San Fransisco was also mentioned as a possibility but the speculation is Titans are at the head of the line.

Of course he's full of it. He's wants to convince people that there are a bunch of teams after TO so that he try and jack the price up. The key word here is "interested"... who knows what that means?

In reality it's probably the Raiders and maybe one more team. And in the end the Raiders will pay way too much for Owens

You're right, Harrison should be picked up by a team right now. I would take Harrison before Owens. The only reason of NOT taking Harrison is the fact that he's become "injury-prone" over the last couple seasons so he's not playing as much. Whereas T.O. plays all 16 games of the season every season.

No! But in reality most likely. Apparently this guy is some sort of super athlete. I however, don't see what all the hub bub is about. I've seen em drop more than I've seen 'em catch over the last few seasons. Truth of the matter is there's always a desperate team that will take desperate measures to get to the big one.

I do believe him. I feel there are some certain teams out there that are stupid enough to sign Terrell Owens. Apparently they dont see that he has wrecked the past 3 teams he has been at.
