No, neither should have their teams removed from them. The Falcons are victims of horrible luck, I mean, who could have seen the Vick dogfighting thing coming? It's tough to win when you lose your franchise QB, especially since he's been gone all season. I think the team will be back on its feet next season, as they bring in a new QB, most likely Brian Brohm, to be the face of the franchise. As for Miami, they've had injuries gallore, and to key players. They have 13 players on the IR including Ronnie Brown, Trent Green and Zac Thomas, not to mention Booker, Chatman, Porter have all missed games or will miss games in the upcoming weeks. They are also still recovering from the loss of Marino. It seems like everytime a franchise has a superstar QB, it takes a while to find a replacement. How many QBs did Dallas go through between Aikman and Romo? It's just a weird thing that happens in football. They'll be a better team next season and I think in 3-4 years they'll be in the playoffs.

You are in need of a bit of educatoin on salary cap and the Falcons owner, Arthur Blank.

As you may or may not be aware, NFL teams have dollar limits on how much they CAN spend.

Michael Vick was making a lot of it. That money, right now, counts against the Falcons cap. The ONLY way they get that money freed up, which is $20,000,000, is if (1)Vick pay that money back to Atlanta (not likely) or (2) Vick declares personal bankruptcy.

Otherwise, the Falcons CANNOT spend it.

Arthur Blank can be criticized for personnel decisions and character evaluations, but he absolutely cannot be criticized for not spending money. That is the one thing he HAS done.

He payed big money to bring in Rich McKay as GM. He paid big money to lock up Vick. He paid big money for Petrino. He paid big money for John Abraham. He made Ovie Muheli the highest paid fullback in the NFL. He will pay big money to bring in a replacement coach.

I assure you that if the Falcons get the $20,000,000 in cap room, Blank will spend it yet again on the team. Whether he spends it wisely is another story.

As to Vick, once again you are misinformed. Vick's biggest supporter through all his poor decisions was Blank. When Vick got caught smoking weed on MySpace, Blank supported him. When Vick broke his leg, Bland wheeled him around the GeorgiaDome in a wheelchair. When Vick said his water bottle at the airport was innocent, Blank believed him.

When Vick told Blank he had absolutely nothing to do with dogfighting, lying directly to his face about a felony, Blank believed him again. The reward for this blind faith is Vick going to jail and leaving his team in chaos.

Even today Blank leaves the door open to Vick's return, despite all his backstabbing.

I believe these teams both had good intentions, when they were preparing for the season, but injuries and legal problems have sidetracked both these teams. The Dolphins problems started with Ricky Williams getting thrown out, and then Ronnie Brown and Trent Green getting injured. Michael Vicks legal problems have obviously taken their toll on the Falcons, eventhough I never thought Vick was the answer in Atlanta, They should have kept Schaub. I

The Falcon owner is just a victim of bad luck, the Dolphins owner is just pathetic. I'm sorry, he has run one of the greatest football teams of all time right down the toilet. I know the Dolphins have had injuries but that doesn't excuse the dumb decisions made in the off season.

No, but the cheating Pats* should be taken away from their owner. Blank is getting what he deserves for hanging his hat on a thug like Mike Vick to start with. He should have known a guy like that would bring the team down some way.

They should both become developmental teams for the REAL NFL, and should be tightly controlled by the NFL

P.S. Bob Kraft, the owner of the Pats, is one of the classiest owners in the NFL.

No, keep Wayne Huizenga, in Miami. As a matter of fact, let him buy up the Bills, and JETS too. The more crappier teams in the AFC the better for the Pats!

the falcons owner aurthur blank needs to shave that cheezy mustache he has going on... if he refuses, then yes, the falcons should be taken away from him...

i dont care either way, i just think its funny that the same year the dolphins 1972 record might be broke that they might not win a single game
