what do you think of my NFL first round mock draft?

1. Rams – QB, Sam Bradford (Oklahoma)
• The Rams have passed on QB’s before and gotten screwed by it (Matt Ryan, Mark Sanchez). It’s time the Rams invest in a Franchise QB. Bradford’s the guy.
2. Lions – DT, Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska)
• The Lions could go Russell Okung here, but I don’t see Jim Schwartz passing on a defensive gem like Suh. Detroit’s D needs much help and matching Suh with Vanden Bosch gives them a nice line to work with.
3. Tampa Bay – DT, Gerald McCoy (Oklahoma)
• McCoy is a great, athletic interior lineman who will help revive Tampa Bay’s D under Raheem Morris, who is bringing back the Tampa 2 system.
4. Washington – OT, Russell Okung (Oklahoma State)
• Mike Shanahan loves the QB, but he also loves protecting the QB. Shanahan drafted Ryan Clady a few years ago and this pick is similar.
5. Kansas City – OT, Bryan Bulaga (Iowa)
• Kansas City needs a lot of help, but if they pick Bulaga they can shift Branden Albert into guard and Brian Waters into Center. This pick will re-shape the whole O-line to better protect the 63 million dollar man (Cassel) and open holes for the new tandem of Jamal Charles and Thomas Jones.
6. Seattle – OT, Trent Williams (Oklahoma)
• Tempting to get a running back here, but they can wait. They need O-Lineman. Whoever ends up playing QB (Hasslebeck or Whitehurst) will be getting torn apart, unless Seattle brings in someone to replace Walter Jones
7. Cleveland – QB, Jimmy Clausen (Notre Dame)
• Mike Holmgren is the QB guru. When he released both Quinn and Anderson, Holmgren made it clear that the QB of the future was not on their roster. Delhomme and Wallace are temporary cures at QB, but they need someone young and talented to build around for the future.
8. Oakland – S, Eric Berry (Tennessee)
• Oakland needs help wherever they can get it but for now I trust them to go for the most electrifying and physically talented guy on the board (the Raider way). That guy is Berry.
9. Buffalo – OT, Anthony Davis (Rutgers)
• Buffalo is probably hoping Clausen will slip to them, but if Cleveland nabs him up early, they’ll be happy to improve their O-line.
10. Jacksonville – DE, Jason Pierre-Paul (South Florida)
• Jacksonville signed Kampman, but it’ll take more than that to improve their atrocious pass rush.
11. Denver – LB, Rolando McClain (Alabama)
• Denver’s D was very productive last year but they need help at Linebacker, especially with the loss of Andra Davis.
12. Miami – LB, Sergio Kindle (Texas)
• Bill Parcells loves linebackers and this guy will fit well into their line backing core which is getting a makeover with Karlos Dansby in the middle.
13. San Francisco – CB, Joe Haden (Florida)
• San Francisco desperately needs help in the secondary and they are lucky Haden is still on the board.
14. Seattle – RB, C.J. Spiller (Clemson)
• Seattle is wise to wait as they can still get the best RB in the draft with their second pick.
15. New York Giants – CB, Kyle Wilson (Boise State)
• Yeah they got Rolle, but this secondary was awful last year. Wilson will help their pass D.
16. Tennessee – DE, Derrick Morgan (Florida)
• Tennessee lost Vanden Bosch, but they can recover nicely with a young stud in Morgan.
17. San Francisco – G/OT, Mike Iupati (Idaho)
• Iupati is a very talented guard who can help protect Alex Smith and open holes for Gore.
18. Pittsburgh – CB, Patrick Robinson (Florida State)
• Pittsburgh will be happy to add to their secondary and will take the best guy available.
19. Atlanta – DT, Dan Williams (Tennessee)
• Atlanta got better on D with the addition of Dunta Robinson, however, they need help on the line and Williams is an amazing prospect to get at pick 19. He will line up next to Abraham, hopefully allowing him to get more sacks than last year.
20. Houston – DB, Earl Thomas (Texas)
• Houston lost Dunta Robinson and will be happy to replace him with a local Texan.
21. Cincinnati – WR, Dez Bryant (Oklahoma State)
• Dez Bryant is a top ten talent who’s off the field issues has pushed him down the draft board. The Bengals have never been scared off by that kind of thing and are happy to get an elite WR to line up next to Ochocinco.
22. New England – DT/DE, Jared Odrick (Penn State)
• New England loves D-lineman in the first round and Odrick is a great fit for their scheme.
23. Green Bay – OT, Bruce Campbell (Maryland)
• Green Bay will be ecstatic if Campbell can slip down the board and into their laps. He’s the type of O-Lineman they need to protect their high power offense.
24. Philadelphia – G/C, Maurkice Pouncey (Florida)
• After letting Shaun Andrews go, the Eagles will be looking for an interior lineman to help fill the void. Pouncey is a good fit who can play center or guard.
25. Baltimore – TE, Jermaine Gresham (Oklahoma)
• Todd Heap is getting old and the Ravens have no contingency plan at TE. Gresham is a good fix.
26. Arizona – OT, Charles Brown (USC)
• Arizona is ushering in a new QB and whoever it is

Derrick Morgan will be the first DE off the board. JPP has tons of potential, but he's way too raw to take top 10.

There's a lot of things I'd bet that Joe Haden is the only cornerback to go in the first round. If there is another first round corner in this draft its Kyle Wilson, but no way should be go as high as 15 overall.

I'd be SHOCKED if Dez Bryant falls that far.

Jermaine Gresham isn't a first rounder. For a tight end to go in the first he has to be an athletic freak like Dustin Keller or Vernon Davis or a balanced receiver and blocker, like Brandon Pettigrew. Gresham has good hands and vertical ability, but he's not very fast at all and is a borderline liability as a blocker.

Besides that its surprisingly good, considering most mock drafts I've seen on this site have me spending 10 minutes pointing out all the flaws.

I'd love to see your last six picks.

Not bad. I really don't see Crabtree dropping that much though. I mean, if I'm Seattle, I'm not passing him up just cuz I got TJ. I mean, TJ is what, early 30s, there's no reason to not take Crabtree. Look at a team like Arizona, they have Fitz and Boldin, it pays to have 2 WRs. Secondly, I really don't see Sanchez going above Stafford. I've been saying for awhile that I don't really like Stafford, I don't think he'll be a good QB, but he will be better than Sanchez. I mean, Sanchez has only started one year in college, and he thinks he's ready for the NFL? Just like with Stafford, junior QBs don't do well in the NFL, they're only in the draft because with the likes of Bradford next year, they'll get picked later. Sanchez is the #2 QB, and he's probably going #17 to the Jets. Finally, Andre Smith at #9 isn't possible. Speculation is that he may not even be picked on the first day, let alone the first round. I think #9 might have been high after his combine problems, but after his pro day, his stock dropped worse. Some scouts were upset that they even made the trip to Alabama to see such an awful workout. Some scouts are actually saying his workouts weren't even top 10 in his position.

It looks fairly accurate. I see the Jaguars taking a Safety at number 10. Or maybe even trading down a few picks to gain a few additional picks. If Eric Berry is taken, which I'm almost 100 percent he will be taken earlier than pick 10, I see them taking Earl Thomas.

I would love to see them bring in Sean Weatherspoon. Linebacker out of Missouri. That guy is a beast. If he's there in the second round... Snatch him! I just don't see them going for a DE this year... They took Harvey and Groves last year... and just signed Kampman... I seriously doubt they go DE again in round one. I see a safety or Linebacker as their first pick, depending on if they trade down or not. Maybe Earl Thomas from Texas

Pretty good, but I think Spiller will be drafted by Seahawks in the 7th pick not the 14th.(a few of the teams between the 7th and 14th pick will LOVE to have a HB like Spiller. Then I think on the 14th pick the Seahawks will pick up an O-Line man,to protect Hasslebeck, and make the running game easier for Spiller.
