Question:
Eli Manning top 5 of all time?
2008-02-12 10:41:49 UTC
Top 5 of all time:
1.Joey Montana - 4 superbowl rings, best west coast offense created by bill walsh...
2.Peyton Manning - 1 superbowl ring, proves to have the most awareness and accuracy of any quarterback.
3.Tony Romo - played 2 seasons as starter, back to back probowls. Bill Parcells drafted him, proves theres talent.
4.John Elway - back 2 back superbowl appearances winning both before calling it quits.
5..Eli Manning - Beat the New England Patroits...and stopped history from happening..did i mention a superbowl mvp?

I like your list but I dont think that Eli Manning and Tony Romo belong just yet. You should give them a couple more years. I think that you showld consider Tom Brady (although I despise the Patriots) because you have to admit that he is pretty darn good. I figure that in a couple more years, Payton could easily be number 1.

This is an amazing list clearly created by someone who is 12 and plays lots of Madden, but has only unlocked the card for the '82 49ers. Tony Romo and Manning are nowhere even close to the top of the quarterback heap. It would be hard for me to put Manning in the top 10 or 15 because he simply doesnt have the accomplishments of some of the QBs in the past. He has records and all sure, but only 1 championship. For someone who apparently only has recent knowledge of the game you forgot Brett Favre which is frankly unforgiveable.

My 5

1. Joe Montant

2. Dan Marino

3. Terry Bradshaw

4. John Elway

5. Brett Favre

This is too funny. Eli top 5? You either got to be joking or you are on crack. Eli is not even top 5 for current players and you are talking about all time? Also Romo isn't even close. To name just a few, Joe Montana, John Elway, Dan Marino, Kurt Warner( yes even Kurt is better), Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady,.................

Let's wait for another 10 years before you can crown Eli as one of the best all time. He need to have 5 fantastic seasons at least. He haven't have one yet. Although he won SB42, his regular season was average.

lol. . . . . Tony Romo ahead of Elway!!!

hahahahahaahhahahaha

Where on earth is Unitas, Favre,Steve Young, Marino, Bradshaw, maybe even Brady, Starr, Stauback and about 20 other QB's of all-time? is this a a joke?

Romo and Eli might not even be top 5 right now if you rank them,

Hasselback, Peyton Manning, Big Ben, Carson Palmer, McNabb, Dereck Anderson, Favre, Jeff Garcia could all make a case to be top 5 currently. And probably a few more.

Eli led the league in picks this year, didnt he? i mean i love him and he kicked butt in the playoffs, but top 5? wow. and Romo is the top 5, hahaahaha!

Aikman was twice the QB Romo is when he was in Dallas

I like Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, and John Elway in the top 5. I also think Eli and Tony could end up there in a few more years, but I think they need to have a little more experience before putting them in the Top 5 of All Time. The other two should be Dan Marino and Brett Favre.

I am a huge Cowboys fan and even I wouldn't put Romo in the top 5 of all time and Eli wouldn't even rank as high as Romo, and there are so many you didn't list, Unitas, Graham, Title, Marino just to name a few that would beat out some on your list. Peyton is good but not sure if he has made the top 5 yet, still early.

1. Brett Farve

2. Joe Montana

3. Peyton Manning

4. John Elway

5. Tom Brady

I love Tony Romo, but number 3? seriously? Over Elway? You obviously don't know what you are talking about. To not put Brady on that list because you have something against the Pats would also be an idiotic move. I hate the Pats, but you can't argue with the fact that he leads that team so well. The Patriots really wouldn't be anything without him. Farve gets Number 1 for playing while he's in his 80's... haha.

Eli Manning is not one of the top 5, that Giant defense deserves a ton of credit as does David Tyree. Eli has made huge strides to being a good qb but not top 5. Why is Tony Romo in there? He hasn't done anything besides fumbles away the Cowboys hopes in Seatlle and flush them out of the first round this year....Romo and manning dont belong in this conversation. Well, at least Eli has won a super bowl, Romo hasn't even been close, having said that Trent Dilfer won a super bowl too, does that make him top 5?

Having Eli and Romo on this list right now is insane. What has Romo done? Romo's back to back Pro Bowls is better than Bradshaw's 4 SuperBowls? How about Stever Young? This list stinks.

What, no Tom Brady?

3 Superbowl Rings...and counting

2 Superbowl MVP's...and counting

50 TD passes in one season

Eli wouldn't make the top 20 yet and his brother doesn't even make the top 10!

i think of that's without question at this element, inspite of the shown fact that he's elite for seperate motives than the others who contain the genuine 5, i could say the genuine 5 suitable now are... -Tom Brady- elite for consistent elite overall performance, you could consistently anticipate a Brady aerial attack -Drew Brees- elite for gaudy stats and the certainty that Brees performs with a severe "win" techniques-set -Aaron Rodgers- elite using fact he can destroy ANY secondary at will doubtless, toughest QB to plot for -Eli Manning- has a extensive quantity of swagger and is a uncooked soccer participant, stats be damned, triumphing counts -Peyton Manning- a coarse start up however the precision remains previous impressive

That must be some good stuff you're smokin' there. When Romo wins a playoff game, then we can discuss him being one of the top 5 QBs in the league, forget all-time.
2008-02-12 11:22:22 UTC
Wow. How rediculous.

Chad Pennington! Top 10 QBs of all time if Eli makes it in the top 5

Eli's had 5 good games in a row. Let's see what happens next season, when they get a tough schedule as defending champs.

I can't even answer this question with Romo in the mix. Are you kidding. Even Manning...any Manning at this point is too early. And to be above the great John Elway...for shame. (I didn't even like Denver and I'm mad).

Worst top five list in the history of conversation.

Keep up the good work.

PS: Some loser said Brett Favre. LOL.

I don't understand what your top 5 is all about. I think many people would say lets see how his career ends up before picking how high on the totem poll he falls.

I guess Tom Brady's 3 Super Bowl victories and 2 Super Bowl MVP honors don't matter? Eli didn't win the game his defense did.
2008-02-12 10:57:10 UTC
putting tony romo and eli manning on that list is evident of your recent lobotamy. i hope you get better soon.
2008-02-12 10:47:04 UTC
bull crap. eli manning will never even be in the top 10, much less the top 5. and you missed brady, hes currently number 4 i believe .. you have this top 5 thing allllll wrong.

not even close. The fact that you don't have Johnny Unitas on your list shows your ignorance of football.
